Midnight blue Kimono
This kimono is a deep midnight blue with hand weaved cotton made by our partner artisans in Oaxaca, Mexico. These fabulous ladies worked on a traditional motif called "flor con bejuco" which are these little interlaced flowers covering most of the kimono. It is a very intricate design and it took weaver Patricia about 45 days to complete.
The ikat silk sleeves, also handmade and naturally dyed in Uzbekistan are black, silver and blue. The raw silk lining is a light mauve hue. For the finishing details we’ve added upcycled silk jacquard with Chinese inspired motifs.
It is slightly padded which makes it perfect for the first chilly autumn days, the silk lining giving it an extra comfy feel. The vest is approximately 76 cm long by 60 cm wide and fits comfortably sizes XS - L.

Kimono collection, handmade textiles by women artisans of the world, designed and put together in our Paris Atelier.
Please note that all our garments are entirely handmade and the textiles are handweaved using traditional techniques. No machine, except a classic sewing machine, is involved in the process. This is why some irregularities may sometimes be present such as tiny apparent threads or a slight difference in length & width. Do not hesitate to contact us if you need more information on any of our collections, we’ll be more than happy to help you choose you perfect piece.
